The basic things you need to think about when hosting a Web site are going to be the domain name, how large your Web site is going to be (how much space it takes up on the hard drive) and if you are going to need the server to do anything special for your site. After you have chosen your domain name you need to figure out what your Web site is going to need the server to run to make your site work. For example, when you make your Web site using Front Page, you will need to tell us you need Front Page Extensions loaded for your site. This will help us put your site on the right server. Waymark runs two platforms for Web hosting, Apache and Microsoft IIS, so you can either be on a server running UNIX or Windows.
